Why we built this
Every year millions of people search for recommendations about Mallorca and end up on sponsored lists, affiliate articles or rankings where the top result paid the most. We wanted to build something different: a guide that is genuinely useful, based on the consensus of thousands of real reviews and editorially verified. Without charging anyone to rank higher.
How we work
We combine local knowledge with data analysis. We know the island in high season and in winter, in the centre and in the inland villages. That local perspective helps us separate places that genuinely deliver from those that just have a good marketing campaign.
Our principles
Data first
Every ranking position is based on average rating, review volume and the Untapped Score. Not on a single editor's opinion.
Independent editorial
We do not accept payment to include or feature businesses. Rankings are generated from public data and cannot be bought.
Full transparency
We publish our methodology. Anyone can understand why a business appears where it appears.
Continuous updates
Mallorca changes. Data is updated periodically to reflect the real state of each business.
