Il Gambero

We had great appetizers, wine, and a delicious dinner. The waiter was friendly and accomodating. We had salmon, pasta and the large pork chop, and shared the creamy gnocchi, all were very delicious. The desserts were tasty too, especially the cream cheese cake with berries.

We visited Il Gambero for an evening meal and came away impressed. The mixed tapas starter was a real winner – generous, well-presented and tasty. The goat’s cheese salad that followed was fresh, modern and beautifully dressed. For the main course we chose the chicken dish: nicely cooked, nicely served.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, and the service is warm and friendly. The food was amazing: the mussels in white wine soup were superb, the gambas with mashed potatoes were exceptional, and the pasta with its rich sauce was delicious.
