Platja de Cala Major

Free, public beach close to souvenir shops and local restaurants. There is a life guard on duty, as well as public restrooms, and a couple of bar options. The beach was crowded when we went twice but overall, very nice beach itself with amazing views and great swimming water!

One of the most beautiful beaches near Palma, just a short bus ride away. You absolutely have to catch it on a sunny day to watch the sun rays shimmer off the transparent waters. My only regret is not spending more time here!

This is a pretty nice beach - I felt like I discovered a fairly untouched nook of Palma. Although it is a fairly small strip of coast, it wasn’t too packed when I went (Friday about 17:00) and the views are really stunning. I would advise you to arrive before then, as I paid €13 for a sun bed (€6) and umbrella (€7) before being kicked off it at 18:30 unless I offered a tip.
