One of the best markets I’ve been to abroad, with a beautiful selection of foods, art, clothing, accessories and more in the charming town of Santanyi. Highly recommend arriving as soon as it opens (9am) to avoid large crowds, as it starts getting very busy around 11am. Mercadillo de Santanyí is absolutely adorable, but be prepared for CROWDS. Like, barely-can-walk level crowds. It’s a full-on squeeze-fest, especially in the narrow streets, so just brace yourself. To be honest, most of the stalls sell pretty much the same things you see at every market in Spain.. It’s definitely blown up thanks to TikTok, but yeah… it is...

Great market, but be prepared to make your way through the crowds flooding the little cobblestone streets! Try and find parking at the town outskirts and walk there, as they close down most roads while the market is on!
