Refugi Tossals Verds

Beautiful location but not nearly as friendly as the other refugis we stayed at on the route. No water or toaster for breakfast and our lunch bags were soaked through in oil. Our friends had pre-paid for a packed lunch and were told they had run out (on the only leg of the trip where there are zero amenities en route).

The location is amazing, the host is friendly and the dinner was the best we had at a refugi so far. Also, we had a very nice bed room in a separate building with four beds. But: Make sure to go to breakfast the minute it starts, we went half an hour later because we had a very long hike the day before and wanted to sleep a bit longer and there were only...

There is a reason why these places are called refugios, they are not hostels or hotels. I am so grateful that they exist in such amazing locations and for such little money, so we (hikers and nature lovers) can enjoy the remote wilderness and tranquility. The staff are doing a great job running these huts🫶
