Hotel De Mar Gran Meliá

We had a genuinely excellent stay at the Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá adults-only property just outside Palma. The hotel sits right on the water with direct sea frontage — rocky coves, palm trees, and that deep Mediterranean blue at every turn. Recently renovated to a high standard, with warm oak floors and clean Scandinavian-meets-Mediterranean styling.

My stay was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The rooms were beautiful—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail made the experience feel special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Pros: nice 5* hotel. Fantastic sea views. Great breakfast. Very easy to get to Palma and Puerto Portals.
