Platja des Coll Baix

This is one of the best beaches in Mallorca. Make sure to come early and prepare for a hike. From the last parking there is about 45 minutes through forest and rocks. Appropriate foot wear is needed. There are no sun beds snacks nor drinks, bring your own. Water is clear and the beach is never crowded there is place for everybody.

For us was the best beach on the island. Although the way there is pretty rough, from the small parking lot which is pretty crowded, you have to hike around 30-40 minutes to reach the water. The narrow path takes you through a beautiful pine forest, take a moment to breath in the fresh air. I hiked to Coll Baix from Platja de Muro which is about 15km and I don't think there is any public transport that takes you there. It was an easy walk, mostly gently uphill but it was enjoyable and I felt safe as a solo female hiker. The beach and the view at the end was a reward! The water was incredibly beautiful. Once you get to the refuge (signposted) you will have to take a long walk down through the woods
