Throwback in time to a bygone age of wooden trains, the station in Palma is cleverly shielded from the traffic-heavy Plaça d'Espanya with a lovely little brick building housing the ticket office. You can book online or purchase on the day; I don't think there was any difference in price. The journey is relaxed and surprisingly smooth, taking a leisurely 1hr15min to arrive in Sóller after stopping briefly for everyone
Reserva y trayectoWe really did enjoy the train to only thing I found that let it down slightly was it was so busy but to see some of the veiws and Soller made up for it we 40€ each for the tickets and I really do recommend buying in advance as the queues were so long. Honestly also try and get there at least 30mins before your time slot or the chances are you may not get to sit together. The train took about 1hr to get to Soller. It
